I’m going on an adventure!

Ok so for those that may or may not know, my next trip (in 45 days and counting) will be to New Zealand.

The home of Hobbit lovers and adventurers alike!
Mountains, Hobbits, Hakas and wine… I โค NZ already.

Me and my friend Midge (also about the size of a hobbit) will be touring both north and south Islands starting in Christchurch and finishing in Auckland, where I’ll be saying goodbye to Midge and heading to Sydney and Melbourne for a few days.

Midge and me โค

8th Nov – 28th Nov
From Christchurch we’ll head south visiting Fox Glacier, Mt Cook, Lake Ohau, Millford Sound, Mirror Lakes and Queenstown, before heading north to Kaikoura, Nelson, Marlborough, Wellington, Tongariro National Park, Rotorua and finishing in Auckland… Phew!

28th Nov – 1st Dec
I’ll be back in Sydney checking out the city again, but mostly this will be my base of operations while I head to the Blue Mountains to hike and check out the awesome views.

1st Dec – 4th Dec
I’ll be heading off to Melbourne to check out the city I’ve heard so much about, seeing as I missed it last year. Of course I’ll also be making my way to the Twelve Apostles and Great Ocean Road on the south coast before finally returning back to the UK for Christmas.

Have you been?
For those of you that have been to one or more of the above, let me know!

I’d love to hear all about your adventures would be happy to receive any advice should you want to impart any wisdom ๐Ÿ™‚

Watch out New Zealand!
Em and Midge are going on an adventure!

  1. Good time to go. We visited this year. I am a kiwi and took my Canadian wife on the Tongariro Crossing and a few hidden spots. Check out tiritiri matangi in the Hauraki gulf if u want to see a kiwi at night in the wild. You have to stay overnight on the island and book in advance. We’ll worth it.
